Bringing Chess Into the Digital Arena
The Riga Chess Tournament was a citywide digital competition delivered by GOEXANIMO in partnership with Riga City Council, engaging 250 young players aged 13 to 25. Hosted fully online on Lichess, the 1v1 Swiss-format tournament combined structured competition, live Latvian-language broadcasts and a €500 prize pool, making competitive chess accessible to Riga’s youth.

Three Days of Digital Chess
GOEXANIMO managed the complete digital tournament production, combining Lichess competition management with live broadcast, commentary, graphics and technical coordination. Across three event days, the team delivered 11 hours of Latvian-language coverage while keeping the online Swiss-format competition structured and easy to follow.
